Portrait Painting, Week 2

My new class, Portrait Painting, continued this week. This is the painting I started in class, and finished at home. It is in oil, on an 11 by 14 inch canvas.

About This Website

David Larsen is an artist who lives in Tucson, Arizona. Thirty years ago, he attended a private art school. There, as a young man, he studied drawing and painting, with the idea of doing illustration for a living. Unfortunately, when he decided to pursue his passion as a career, the magic disappeared. As a result, he gave it up.

Twenty years later, after making his career elsewhere, he found his way again.

"This is my journey to rediscover art."
